NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Dayton hereby gives notice that a public hearing has been scheduled to take testimony for or against the vacation of a portion of East J Street public right-of-way

Petition Request:  Request has been submitted to the City of Dayton to vacate a portion of E. J St. adjacent to S. 6th St. Dimensions of the vacation petition is 60’ X 120’, for a total area of 7,200 square feet. The right-of-way is undeveloped. 100% of adjacent properties owners signed the petition.
Public Hearing:

The Dayton City Council has scheduled a public hearing to take testimony for or against the vacation.

Notice of Public Hearings Scheduled

  1. Three Rivers Short Plat & Variance - March 16, 2021 at 10:00 am 
  2. Dayton Assisted Living Conditional Use Permit - Match 16, 2021 at 12:00 pm (noon)

Both the variance and the conditional use permit application require public hearing and decision by the Hearing Examiner. The hearings will be held via Zoom. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – 2020 Comprehensive Plan Amendments

The City of Dayton hereby gives notice that a public hearing has been scheduled to take testimony for or against the proposed amendments to the City of Dayton Comprehensive Plan. The amendments proposed include revisions to the City zoning map (no site-specific re-zones) and the policy addition related to incorporation of the Urban Forestry Management Plan. Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan is a legislative decision with final approval requiring a public hearing by the Dayton Planning Commission and approval by the Dayton City Council.

Public Notice of Determination of Nonsignificance

DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE – 2020 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENTS

Description of proposal— The proposal includes amending the Dayton Comprehensive Plan to address the authorized Docket items per DMC Chapter 10-09. Docket 2020-01 – Zoning Map, includes administrative revisions to the boundaries. No re-rezones are proposed. Docket 2020-02 – Includes the adoption, by reference, of the Urban Forestry Management Plan for the City of Dayton.

Lead Agency—City of Dayton, Washington

The lead agency for this proposal has determined that this project does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.450. This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request.

This Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2). The City will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of issue. Comments must be submitted by 4:00

p.m. by the closing of the comment deadline if they are intended to alter the DNS. The Responsible Official will reconsider the DNS based on timely comments and may retain, modify, or, if significant adverse impacts are likely, withdraw the DNS. If the DNS is retained, it will be final after the expiration of the comment deadline.
