DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE – 2020 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENTS
Description of proposal— The proposal includes amending the Dayton Comprehensive Plan to address the authorized Docket items per DMC Chapter 10-09. Docket 2020-01 – Zoning Map, includes administrative revisions to the boundaries. No re-rezones are proposed. Docket 2020-02 – Includes the adoption, by reference, of the Urban Forestry Management Plan for the City of Dayton.

Lead Agency—City of Dayton, Washington
The lead agency for this proposal has determined that this project does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.450. This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request.
This Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2). The City will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of issue. Comments must be submitted by 4:00
p.m. by the closing of the comment deadline if they are intended to alter the DNS. The Responsible Official will reconsider the DNS based on timely comments and may retain, modify, or, if significant adverse impacts are likely, withdraw the DNS. If the DNS is retained, it will be final after the expiration of the comment deadline.
