Code Compliance
The City of Dayton is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Dayton by providing public service in the enforcement of public nuisance, building, and zoning ordinances. It is the goal of the code compliance program to achieve voluntary compliance with applicable State RCW's and city municipal codes, all of which are intended to protect the healthy, safety, and welfare of the public and our community. In those instances where voluntary compliance is not attained, civil and/or criminal penalties may result.
Citizens should report code violations to Dayton City Hall by phone at 509-382-2361. In addition, citizens can submit notices via email or in person at City Hall during regular office hours.
