Changes to City Park Access & Uses

At request of the Columbia County Public Health Department, and in accordance with recommendations from the State of Washington and the CDC,  the City of Dayton has made the following changes to limit the spread of Covid-19:

  • Pietrzycki (City) Park: All public play equipment and shelters/gazebos have been closed to the public
  • Caboose Park: All public play equipment has been closed to the public

Per Governor Jay Inslee's "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" order, effective midnight on March 25, all social, spiritual, and recreational gatherings are prohibited. The skate park, dog park, open spaces, levee walking path, and single picnic benches remain open for use so long as they are not used for the uses outlined above. In any matter, it is critical to maintain social distance between yourself and other people while using these facilities.
