I was raised in Dayton and after graduating from Dayton High School I went on to college, then lived and worked in Spokane and Seattle for over 30 years. Five years ago while living in Seattle, I decided to get away from the stress of the big city and move back to Dayton, to live close to my parents and a quieter way of life.
The reason that I like and want to live in Dayton is for the lifestyle. When I graduated from High School Dayton was dying, and all I wanted to do was get out of town to live in a city where there were more opportunities. Over the past 30 years Dayton has gone through a complete transformation, it is now a community with a lot to offer; and that is the reason I want to be on the City Council to help see that it continues to do so.
I am now working at the Wenaha Gallery and I?m also actively involved with the Columbia County Fair Board acting as Secretary.
My interests are gardening, fishing, horseback riding and knitting.
